For Beginner Techs: This training reviews the basic components and functions of both heat pumps and gas furnaces, including basic diagnostics. The training will also provide an understanding of single stage and 2-stage compressor equipment, defrost cycles, defrost controls and expansion devices (electronic & mechanical). We will also cover single stage, 2-stage and modulating gas furnace operation & diagnostics. This training will include the Non-Communicating Service Guide.
