This class will cover the following:
Evaluating refrigerant flow and walk-through diagnostic processes to determine if a system is properly charged.
Taking a deeper dive into refrigerant diagnostics to evaluate application issues; issues that can cause refrigerant performance issues on a properly charged system.
Evaluating nine refrigerant troubleshooting scenarios to understand the proper flow in relation to a series of application and mechanical issues. You will learn and diagnose the root causes, including:
* TXV Failure
* Low Charge
* Poor Condensing
* Suction Line Pressure Drop
* Liquid Restriction
* Excessive Charge
* Low Indoor Air Flow
* Non-Condensables
* Normal Operation
Learning how to evaluate the failure modes of compressors within the first 5-years of installation and see how these failures can be minimized.
