Your local Ferguson HVAC is offering classroom training and testing for the EPA Section 608 Technician Certification. Section 608 of theFederal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair, or dispose of appliances that contain regulated substances be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques. This 8 hour course will consist of two sections. Section 1 includes 6 hours of instruction about EPA regulations and proper refrigerant handling techniques. In section 2, you will have the opportunity to take the EPA Certification test.
