This course provides an in-depth discussion of the techniques associated with properly installing a SMART MULTI system. Instruction focuses on the best practices, limitations, and manufacturer’s requirements as they pertain to wiring, addressing, refrigerant pipping, and equipment installation. Hands-on experience building systems using Diamond System Builder design software offers participates insights and requirements for Mitsubishi Electric’s warranty process and the steps to register products once they have been installed. The concepts of integration and Centralized control are discussed as well as the proper steps for system start-up. An in -depth functional examination of system operation including both the electrical and refrigerant circuits is covered along with the resource, and techniques to diagnose and troubleshoot SMART MULTI systems. Practical hands-on exercises to identify faults and repair selected units reinforce the concepts covered.
