WHAT QUALIFIES A SYSTEM AS ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED?

WHAT ABOUT HEATING EQUIPMENT?
A central air conditioner needs a blower motor – which is usually part of the furnace – to blow the cool air through the duct system. The only way to ensure that your customers’ new air conditioner performs at its rated efficiency is to replace the heating system at the same time. It’s especially recommended if the furnace is over 15 years old. If they purchase a new energy-efficient air conditioner but connect it to an older furnace and blower motor, the system will not perform to its rated efficiency.

Not only can ENERGY STAR certified equipment save customers money on energy costs, they can also earn up to $1,000 in local utility rebates for upgrading to an ENERGY STAR certified system.

Rebate claim submissions begin August 1, 2024, and must be submitted within 30 days of installation date to be considered eligible for payment. CashBack rebates will be paid to you or your business via direct deposit. The payment method is selected by you in the CST Dashboard and must be complete before your first claim entry. To update or change your payment method you must contact help@myfriedrich.com.

Optional Savings for Homeowners
It’s up to you if you want to keep the full rebate or pass along the rebate to your customers. We will not promote any rebate offers to homeowners.
